Spanish is the third most used language on the internet, after English and Mandarin. I guess that says a lot. Plus, the true message does tend to get lost in translation, so it would be helpful if you didn’t need one in the first place.

You can learn Spanish for free. It has become such a popular language, that the internet is full of helpful websites for you to start learning Spanish for free. Some use visuals and audio guides to make your study even more interesting and entertaining, so give it a try!

But the best way to really learn it is to study Spanish in it’s own land. So why not study in Spain? There are a few really good universities to do just that.

Spain has a lot to offer if you’re considering to study abroad. You can choose from exchange programs, to undergraduate or postgraduate programs, there are a few great top universities for you to choose from. Plus, since Spain is one the biggest European holiday destination, school here will certainly be a wonderful experience for you.

University of Barcelona (UB) is the highest-ranked Spanish University. It is also one of the oldest universities, dating back to the Medieval Ages. The university is also recognised for it’s high performance research programs.

The Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona is a newer institution, ranked 173rd in the world. This university has a really impressive campus, one of few in Spain, where you can enjoy the complete student experience, finding cultural, academic and social activities all in the same place.

Universidad Autónoma de Madrid is another top ranked Spanish university, known especially for it’s Faculty of Law. This is also where His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain has studied Law.

The University of Granada, in the south of Spain, is the fourth largest in Spain. It also has campuses in Ceuta and Melilla (North of Africa), being the only European university to have

campuses on two continents. It is the most popular Spanish university for international students, as it has been recently voted.

The list is much longer than this. There are good universities all across Spain, just pick an area and start searching for the one you would maybe one day study at.

The Beaches of Malaga

First of all, the weather is brilliant. Brilliant enough to enjoy a swim in the sea after you’re done with your studying schedule of the day. As mentioned before, Spain is one of the biggest European tourist attractions, so studying here could be like a good book on a holiday.

The social side of Spain is a really good mix of everything. With combined history and influences, the music, the fiestas and the food are so diverse, it would be impossible not to find something to please anyone.

The schedule is a bit on delay in Spain. People are doing everything a bit later here than anywhere else. All shops open after 9 AM, everybody eats later and they all go to sleep later. This means that arriving at a party in the middle of the night is sometimes too early. So say goodbye to impossibly early mornings and enjoy a more relaxing schedule here in Spain.

Spain is also a little Heaven for art lovers. Picasso, Velázquez, Salvador Dalí, Gaudí, Antonio Banderas, Julio Iglesias, Flamenco music, the Architecture and even the street Grafitti, this whole country is breathing art everywhere you turn. And the wonderful thing about it is that it is different in every part of Spain, each city brings new surprises worth being explored.
